Questions
Before you book.
Who supplies the car?
A vetted Cape Town rental company from our partner network. You sign their rental agreement, and they provide the vehicle, insurance and support. We arrange the match and stay your point of contact.
Do you charge more than the rental company?
No. You pay the partner fleet's own rate. Our fee is paid by the partner, not added to your quote.
What do I need to rent?
Usually a valid driver's licence held for at least two years, a credit card for the deposit, and a minimum age that varies by vehicle. Visitors may need an international driving permit. Each quote states the partner's exact requirements.
Can you deliver to my villa or the airport?
Yes. Delivery and collection across the Atlantic Seaboard, the City Bowl, the Southern Suburbs, the Winelands and Cape Town International can be arranged. Any delivery fee appears on your quote.
Can I book a driver instead?
Yes. Choose "Executive with chauffeur" in the form, or tell us the occasion, and we'll quote chauffeur-driven options.
Privacy notice
How we use your details.
Who we are. Atlantic Private (Pty) Ltd, Cape Town, South Africa. Contact: aaron@atlanticprivate.co.za.
What we collect. The details you send us: name, phone number, email, dates, delivery location and any notes.
Why. Only to reply to your enquiry and arrange your booking. We share your details with the partner fleet supplying your vehicle, and with no one else. We do not sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.
How long. We keep booking records for as long as South African tax law requires, and delete enquiries that did not become bookings within 12 months.
Your rights. Under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) you may ask to see, correct or delete your information by emailing aaron@atlanticprivate.co.za. You may also complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.
